GTV and Spider

Autolusso do more Powerflex upgrades to the rear of GTVs than anyone else in the country. This modification will benefit your GTV for the following reasons:

  • Cheaper than OEM parts
  • Guaranteed to last (Powerflex bushes will out-last standard 10:1)
  • Vastly improved handling

The rear end of 2.0L GTVs are fitted with rubber bushes which need to be replaced periodically.

The original arms and bushes can be expensive.

The rear of the 3.0L has rose joints and these also wear out. When replacing these with OEM parts you will need to replace the whole arm.

When rear arms wear out this will make the car unstable, with both handling and braking affected. This also causes uneven tyre wear (50p shaped tyres).

Powerflexed and powder-coated rear suspension arms: £565 including fitting and 4-wheel alignment.

147, 156 and GT anti-roll bar

The front anti-roll bar on these cars tend to last approximately 40,000 miles or 4-5 years. When they are worn out you get a knocking noise from under the car when driving. We can fit a standard original anti-roll bar or for the same price we can fit an anti-roll bar with Powerflex bushes. Anti-roll bars fitted with Powerflex bushes will last approximately 10 times longer that the standard item.

Powerflexed anti-roll bar supplied and fitted with new drop links: £275

159 and Brera

Autolusso have been working with Powerflex to make adjusters for the top arms of the 159 and Brera. We have also been working on lower bushes for the lower arms which really do make a massive difference.

We have taken a lot of time to perfect these bushes and they do take a lot of fitting and a lot of setting up. We are able to set these up precisely as we have a really 'trick' Beissbarth alignment machine. This is not a DIY job - fitting can be but not the set up.

We personally belive this is the best modification you can do to your Alfa Romeo 159 or Brera for the following reasons;

  • Cheaper than OEM parts
  • Guaranteed to last (Powerflex bushes will out-last standard 10:1)
  • Vastly improved handling

The 159s are fitted with rubber bushes which need to be replaced periodically. The original arms and bushes can be expensive.

The bushes are incredibly soft which means that even after fitting new bushes the steering never stays correct. This is why we decided to work with Powerflex to fix this problem.

With these new Powerflexed bushes, it is now possible to adjust the castor and camber angles on your Alfa.

We do a fixed priced job including the fitting of the Powerflex bushes and 4-wheel alignment for £635.
